100 Year Old Completing a Full 42.2K Marathon

As a runner myself, I had to post this story...

Fauja Singh at age 100, finished Toronto's waterfront marathon Sunday evening October 16, 2011. He only started running marathons at age 89! This absolutely goes to show you that you are never too old to start! How inspiring is that?!?

Running had helped him overcome his adversity of a tragic death of his wife and son. This is his 8th marathon and he has made history as the oldest person to complete a full marathon.

Ever since I've started running, it has improved my life for the better both physically and mentally. All I can say is, get out there and do some form of exercise regularly! You won't regret it!
